General Information

  • Our parties are suitable for children turning age 3 and older.

  • There is a maximum of 20 children. For larger birthday parties, please contact us for special arrangements.

  • Rental of the Nature Center for a larger party (up to 55 guests) is an additional $200.00.

  • For the safety and the enjoyment of your guests, we require a parent/chaperone ratio of 1 adult to 5 children. 

  • At the Nature Center and Aquarium the maximum number of guests is 35, parties larger than 35 people have the option of renting the Auditorium

  • No extra fees for extra adults at Caratunk, Fisherville or Powder Mill Ledges.

  • Party will start at the scheduled time; please ask guests to arrive on time so they don't miss out on the fun.

  • A $75 deposit is required when your party date and time is confirmed to reserve your date. The balance is due on the day of the party.

  • You may cancel up to 15 days in advance of the scheduled date for a full refund. If you cancel within 15 days, you may use your deposit for another date (based on availability) for your party or as a tax-deductible donation to Audubon Society of Rhode Island.

  • We gladly accept cash, check or credit cards.

  • We would be pleased to advise you on environmentally friendly products and ideas for your party. We do not allow balloons or Styrofoam products.

  • Requests for specific animals to be presented during party can not be accommodated.

  • Rental of the Nature Center for a larger party (up to 55 guests) is an additional $200.00. Please note: Limited themes for larger parties. Please call for more information.

Audubon provides...

  • Teacher and materials for 1-hour program.

  • Set up of table and chairs.

  • Use of a private room for program and party.

You are responsible for...

  • Ensuring guests arrive on time.

  • Supervising guests during the second hour.

  • Cleaning up. A $50.00 cleaning fee may apply if party rooms are not cleaned appropriately at the end of the party.

  • Bringing party supplies, refreshments, and other treats (please no balloons, confetti or styrofoam).
