Caratunk Wildlife Refuge
With nearly 200 acres of fields, forests, streams and ponds, this is one of Audubon’s most popular destinations. Young children can easily maneuver the shorter trails, especially through the open fields and light woods. Older children can explore streams, ponds and forest. Parties include guided outdoor explorations and festivities in the big white barn. Caratunk is only a ten-minute drive from Providence, Rhode Island.
